The Effect of an Earthquake

 Japan often occer earthquakes, and they sometimes causes extensive damages.  About 15years ago, the erthquake with a seismic intensity of 7 on the Japanese scale diredtly hit Kobe and its neighboring areas. This earthquake caused severe damage as well. The big erthquake effects some awful change. Three main effects are collasped houses and guilding, secondary disasterof fire, and bruise and trauma of children.

 First of all, sometimes a big erthquake effects collapse. A lot of Japanese houses can stand most quake, but old houses sometimes fall down in big quake. As a result of this, many people are buried under building, and people die. For example, over 5000 people were killed in the Great Kobe Earthquake because of collapse and other secondry disaster. Due to this, many people lost their houses and family.

 Another possible effect for earthquake is secondary disaster of fire. Occasionally, gas pipes oracke, then the big fire breake out. In a big city, this disaster becomes biggest damage because there are a lot of buildings. The case of the Kobe Earthquake occered as well. Kobe is really big city, and that is why too many people were killed. In the case of the Nigata Earthquake, there are few death toll and fire, because it is the countryside. In any case, you have to close gas taps immediately when an earthquake happend.

 A third effect for big quake is bruise and trauma of children. Some children in devastated area lost their parents because of collaspe or fire, and others fear aftershosk. In the case of the Kobe Earthquake, some elementary school put coundelores untill children graduated. As a result of this, they mended better and better.

 In conclution, Japan is main country of earthquake, so you should prepare for shelters such as food, water, a radio, a frashlight and so on. In addition, you should live in a strong house if you can. 

Aging Society

 The population of old people in japan has increased over the last 10years. The life span of people became longer than after the war because we could have good healthy meals, and take cutting-edge medicines. Japan is one of the longest life country over the world. Sometimes over 100 year-old people are interviewded by TV shows. They look very young and fine. It is proud of Japan, and you may think it os great thing. It is true, but actually, aging societyis one of big probrems in Japanese society. The probrems such as pension ploblem, welfare, and medical care have been making us and old people anxious.

 

 Lately, we can hear about pension problem in news. The government couldn’t manage information about our pensions, so some people couldn’t drow their pension rightly. In addition, there are too many old people against young people. Japanese finance of pension is difficult. For example, once people drew their pension at 60. but now it is at 65. A lot of conpanies change retirement age to 65 years old as a solution. In the future, it may become at 70 abd more. People always have anxieties about our future and pension.

 

  In the case of welfare, there are some problems. First, a lack of care worker is it. There is much demand for old people’s homes and care worker. The homes are increasing but the worker are not. Why? It is because that they have to work very hard at low pay. Many worker give up their job. Problems are not about are workers but also about these homes. Second, the elderly needs money to live in these institutions, of course. Some are very expensive. The poor elderly can’t enter them, so they have to live alone with disability. We have to think about answer about these problems.

 

 About medical care is also a big problem. A lot of hospital are going out of business because of a lack of doctor. For instance, doctores are sometimes taken legal actiors by their misses. They are big burdens for doctors. This is one of reasons of lack. Old people have to go to far hospital, but beds are full. In adition, medical bill rose lately. They can not go to hospital easily, so some dies alone in their home. We sometimes heard these sad news.

 

 In conclusion, improvements of medicine and living a long life are very good thing, but government have to take care of these problems. They will became more and more serious problems. To living in peace for the elderly, do you know what we can do about these sad probrem?

  

About my golden week

 My golden week was not special except one thing. The one thing is that I finished job hunting before holidays. I was really relieved. On Saturday, the first day of holidays, I slept late. I waked up at 14:00 and I worked part time job until 23:00. Next day, I also slept until afternoon, and I had a job that night. On Monday, I slept straight through till 14:00. Then I went to drink with my friends. I enjoyed it very much. After I went back to my home, I went to sleep like a sleeping beauty… The last day of holidays, I got up lately as can be expected. Then, I worked for five hours. My holidays ware almost sleepimg and working days.

If you skip class many times, you will fail of corse. On the class, you should speak English. Finaly, you ought to make good conections with classmates and teacher. For example, If you make friiends in class, you can enjoy it. Moreover, you can help each others about your assignments. If you are luckey, your teacheralso help you about your grade. In conclusion, whether you can get good grade easily is up to you.

My Golden Week

I have not decided my golden week plans yet. I want to go on a trip with my friend to feel refreshed. Then I wanna eat a lot of yummy food!! And, I want to go shopping and get nice clothes. I really want to do them, but actually they are just my wishes. I have no money. I have to do job hunting and study for that. In adition, I have a part-time job. My golden week will be hopeless..I think.
